Jaffa — Athens, 1871
In 1866 an agreement was signed between
France and Greece allowing letters to be sent
to Greece unfranked and postage of 45 lepta
will be collected upon arrival. This agreement
was terminated at the end of July 1871.

בשנת 6681 נחתם הסכם דואר בין צרפת ויוון, המאפשר
משלוח מכתבים לא מבוילים ליוון, כאשר דמי המשלוח
.בסך 54 לפטה ייגבו מהנמען עם הגעת המכתב ליעדו
.1871 הסכם זה בוטל בסוף יולי
מכתב לא מבויל, שנשלח מיפו לקונסול האמריקני
/באתונה, יוון, חתום בחותמת טבעת-פנינים ”יפו
סוריה 9 יוני 17“. המכתב סומן עם הגיעו בחותמת
מיוחדת ”54 לפ]טה[“, בויל בבולים בסך 54 לפטה
לתשלום התעריף המיוחד ליוון. חותמות מעבר ”בירות
(17.7.01“, ”סמירנה 17.7.61“ )לפי הלוח הגרגוריאני
וחותמת הגעה ”פיראוס אתונה 17.7.7“ )לפי הלוח
