Mader & Springer, Isny - probably established in 1894 was a fine art & collotype printer that specialized in souvenir albums and picture postcards. In early 1906, the company became Mader Bros. but continued to use the M&S logo. Isny is a small town in the Allgäu region, Württemberg (Southern Germany). The Mader firm(s) printed (sometimes also published) not only typical picture postcards, but also subject cards, from greetings to humorous type done by collotype process. Many are hand colored. Interesting to learn that such a rather small printer from the country produced post cards series for Palestine.
