The Scripture Gift Mission–founded in London in 1889 by a merger of the Naval and Military Bible Society with the Crystal Palace Bible Stand. Since its founding it has published small pamphlets consisting mostly of selections from the Scriptures under theme titles such as: ‘The Way of Salvation’, ‘God Hath Spoken’, and ‘Counsel and Comfort’. It also publishes individual Gospels, postcards, and reading cards to promote literacy in missionary areas. Most of the Mission’s publications are not dated in or on the publication itself. Unless otherwise noted, the place of publication is London, and no date is contained in the imprint.
