Folded letter from Acre to Livorno, Italy,
dated 18.4.1692, addressed to Venturini,
arrived at Livorno 18.5.1692 (31 days in
passage). The text of the letter reads:
“...letter received by Capt. Jacques Marin
together with receipts for the sale of cotton
wool and ashes... .Shipping news: Captain
Fougasse broke his masts due to bad weather,
sailing from Marseilles to Livorno, and had
to return to Provence.”
