“Pre-paid” postcard, 1/2 Pt (1⁄2 piaster)
marked by hand at the top; posted from the
Rishon Le Zion area to Scotland, 3.7.1918.
The postcard was paid for and mailed through
Field Post Office SZ-32 and transferred to
GM-1 in Beer Salem for franking and onward
mailing.
It is one of the last “pre- paid” items
mailed from Palestine.
